My great-great-grandfather "John Toddy" was the son of Isaac and Mary (McGee*) Bunch. His dates of birth and death are the result of genealogical research (i.e., the census and his Bible); a death record wasn't filed. John Toddy's grave is identified with a small name marker of "John Bunch" (Beech Grove is also known as Tioga Cemetery). His name, incidentally, was listed as "James" in the 1850 and 1860 Anderson County Census records. His brother Isaac Bunch Jr., who was younger, wasn't a twin; instead, Isaac's year of birth via his military file is a discrepancy. John Toddy and Martha were married on April 4, 1870, in Scott County, Tennessee, and were the parents of the following twelve children (a thirteenth child died in infancy): 1) Isaac Bunch (1870-1912), Davis Cemetery, Coalfield, Tennessee; 2) Mary (Bunch) Shoopman (1872-1933), Spiro Cemetery, Spiro, Oklahoma; 3) Malinda (Bunch) Russell (1874-1949), Indian Creek Cemetery, Oliver Springs, Tennessee; 4) James Franklin Bunch (1875-1901), Richmond Cemetery, Jellico, Tennessee; 5) Joanna (Bunch) Goodman/Miller/Snavely (1877-1915), Woodlawn Cemetery, La Follette, Tennessee; 6) J.
