Mrs. Michael Wier (sic), 76, of 2314 Marshall street, died Tuesday at the home. She had been in failing health three years.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the home and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mrs. Wier, nee Anna Schroeder, was born in Poland in 1870 and came here as a child 73 years ago. She was married to Mr. Wier 57 years ago. He died ten years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. John Mushel and Mrs. Felix Budnik of this city; five sons, Joseph, Alois, August, Peter and Paul all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Ziarnik and Mrs. Mary Wachowiscz of this city; 29 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wier was a member of the St. Mary's Rosary society.
The body will be moved to the Wier home at 4:30 p.m. Thursday from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home and the rosary will be recited Friday evening at 8:30.
