Andrew P. Lucas, 24-year-old Trinidad resident, died Monday afternoon as a result of injuries received in a logging accident. He was born April 17, 1933, in Blacksbury, Va.
He had been a resident of this area for the past two months. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Rosary will be recited at Field Mortuary, Chapel of the Redwoods, Wednesday at 8 p.m. Requiem Mass will be held in St. Mary's Church following brief services in the mortuary chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Eureka.
