Tiny Gibson was born February 14, 1904 in Lincoln Co, WV to Charles "Odell" Gibson and Mary Ellen Burns Gibson. They were living in Carroll, Lincoln Co. WV in the 1910 census. Her siblings names were; Nora, Hermon, Georgia, Roscoe, Minta, and Ola.

She married Alfred L Morgan on February 8, 1925. She had a daughter, Pearl, in 1924 from a previous marriage. She added step daughters, Bessie and Evie when she married. She and Alfred had 11 more children together; Donald, Dixon, Chester, Kenneth, Dean, Josie, Sharon, Shirley, Gary, Chuck, and Blanche. Dixon and Blanche died in childhood.

They lived in Kistler WV, a small coal mining town along the Buffalo Creek. Alfred was a coal miner during his working years, and Tiny kept house. During the Buffalo Creek Flood Disaster on February 26, 1972, the flood waters reached their home, but did not destroy it.

She died in March of 1981 in Logan Co. WV. She and her husband, Alfred, are buried in Highland Memory Gardens in Logan County, WV.
