Abigail Garcia, 54, of Wysox, entered the kingdom of heaven on Thursday, August 27, 2015 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.
She was the beloved wife of Steve Zerby.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of Angel Garcia of Telford and the late Genara (Figueroa) Garcia.
Ms. Garcia was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and taking care of everyone and everything. Abby was considered her family’s rock.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two daughters: Yolanda Rivera of Allentown, Siarra Rivera of Wysox, two sons: Alexander Rivera of Souderton, Pablo Rivera of Allentown, six brothers: Angel Jr. and his wife Sherry, Nelson and his wife Lisa, all of Sellersville, Luis, Fred and his wife Doreen, all of Pennsburg, Frank and his wife Debbie of the Poconos, Rick of Souderton, three sisters: Irma and her husband Luis of Telford, Belen and her husband Darren of Allentown, Elizabeth and her husband Barre of Slatington, and six grandchildren: Siarra, Naya, Elaina, Illiana, Juliana, and Jayleis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 10 A.M. in the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hilltown. Family will receive friends on from 9-10 AM prior to the Mass. I
