Doris Jane Barnett Long Bowman, age 58 of Parrott passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the New River Valley Medical Center. Born November 18, 1955 in Montgomery County she was the daughter of the late Roy & Thelma Kanode Barnett. Her Uncle, Charles Sonny Bishop also preceded her in death. She was an employee of the Highland Ridge Rehab Center where she had worked for 35 years. She is survived by her Husband- James F. Lang, Jr. Parrott, VA Step-Sons-James F. Lang, III & wife, Gina Floyd,& Steve Cox & wife, Connie Peterstown, WV. Step-Daughter-Dorothy Cox - Christiansburg, VA. Step-Granddaughter-Amber Lang. Sisters-Bonnie Vaught & Jessie Mitchell Pulaski, Betty McGuire Elliston, Rose Tabor & husband, Larry Pulaski, Virginia Shepherd & husband, Danny Dublin. Special Aunt-Alma Bishop Pearisburg.
