On January 16, 1960 he married Verba Baker at Falls City.
Raymond was raised at Falls City and attended country school. Following his schooling he was employed by the Coca Cola Bottling Plant in Falls City. He worked for Frontier Trailer Factory and then worked construction for several companies before retiring from Rogge’s Construction in 2002. He was a member of Falls City Elks Lodge #963 and has served in the Nebraska National Guard.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Verba of Falls City, daughters, Lori Owens of Falls City, Sherri Strecker and Robert Fisher of Falls City, three sisters, grandchildren, Dennis Lockard II and his wife Kallie, Dylan Lockard, Brandon Gibson, Jessica and Jacie Fisher. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.
