Mrs. Katherine A. Sheridan, 68, of 809 S. Wasington st., who lived here 30 years, died Tuesday night in a Stockton Hospital. A native of Boca, near Truckee, she later lived in Truckee and then in Lancha Plana, Amador county, before coming to Lodi in 1930. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, the Gold Star Mothers, and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
She was the wife of the late Philip J. Sheridan; mother of Ferdinand Sheridan of Alaska; Mrs. Edna Birk of Hayward; Mrs. Rose Martens of Lodi; Charles Sheridan of Oakland; Floyd Sheridan of Wallace, Calaveras county; Mrs. May Tompkins of Pennsylvania; Woodrow Sheridan of Camanche; Mrs. Eleanor McCoy of Long Beach; Mrs. Jane Sheffield of Lodi; William Sheridan, of the U.S. Air Force in Lincoln, Neb.; Calvin Sheridan of San Margarita; Mrs. Florence Cozad of Lodi and the late Pat Sheridan. She leaves 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
