AMY LESHER BELL, aged 80 years, died yesterday en route to the Washington County Hospital, after she was suddenly stricken at ther home, 862 Virginia Avenue. Born at Rockdale, Md., she was the daughter of Mary Ellen and Henry Lesher.

She resided her entire adult life near Kemps Mill, except for the last few years in Hagerstown. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsport; and a life member of the Woman's Missionary Society.

She was the widow of Keller Byers Bell, former county treasurer.

Surviving are children, Mrs. Joseph Lore, Jr., Solomons, Md.; Mrs. Watson Phillips, Rockville, Md.; Mrs. Charles l. Downey, Williamsport, Rt. 2; Dr. Houston L. Bell, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Clara Strite, Clear Spring; Mrs. Etta Schnebly, Hagerstown; and brother, Wilson Lesher, Narrows, Va.

Services were held at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, State Senator and Mrs. Charles L. Downey; interment was in the family plot at St. Paul's Cemetery, near Clear Spring.
