I found several different name spellings for my paternal Great-grandmother. Levina, Lavina, and Lavinia. I believed Levina's maiden name was Knox. I have searched this out extensively. However regretfully, I found that this Lavinia (Knox) was married to a John M. Marlin. I am still searching.
My paternal Great-grandmother Levina was the 1st wife of my paternal Great-grandfather William Wallace. They had 4 children, 2 sons, William E. and (my paternal grandfather) James W. Wallace; 2 daughters Ellen (Ella) M. and Matilda M. Wallace.
I believe that Levina was possibly the biological mother of Robert Henry, born in 1883. She may have died giving birth to him or maybe the Flu or Pneumonia. My "reasoning" in this is, William did not marry his 2nd wife Sarah until 1885. R. Henry was a baby, his mother has died, of course Sarah would be his "mother".
