Frances was born on October 2, 1919 to John and Mary (Tuma) Zastoupil in Dickinson, ND. On April 25, 1945 she married John P. Andrews in Dickinson. John died on March 21, 1963. After John died Frances returned to school to obtain her LPN Certificate. She worked as an LPN for St. Joseph's Hospital in Dickinson for 17 years. She continued to live in Dickinson until 1990 when she moved to Mandan where she lived until entering Marilac Manor in 2000. Being there two years Francis moved to Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center until her passing.
Frances was a woman of strong faith; she especially enjoyed being a member of Spirit of Life Church looking forward to church activities. She was a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters. She was known for playing a good card game, especially pinochle. She had a green thumb for yard work and flowers but most of all she looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.
Frances will be deeply missed by her daughter, Rita (Rodney) Gwyther, Mandan; sister, Dorothy Chandler, Mandan; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Harlan; sisters, Mary Malone, Josephine Dew, Amy Rhodes and Betty Killian; brothers, Robert Zastoupil, Albert Zastoupil, John Zastoupil, William Zastoupil and Anton Zastoupil.
