Ina Catherine Brooks was Born Feb 20, 1914, in Mullens, WV. She was the daughter of the late Roy R. and Emily Lake Cook Brooks. She has been a resident of Welch since 1979. Prior to moving to Welch, she had resided in Superior for 31 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Welch. Prior to becoming ill, she had been active in the Eastern Star, Rebekahs Women's Club and the Welch Garden Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.N. Reid, one sister Velva Walker, and a half brother Ted Brooks.

Survivors: one son Roy Reid of Stewart Street Welch; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1pm from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel, Welch, with the Rev. Glen Green Officiating.

Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, near Princeton:

Pallbearers will be Jim Acord, Alexander Basham, Barry Hill, Jeffery Acord, James Basham and Stuart Hill.
