Floyd Anderson, 56, died May 8 at Hospice Savannah. He was a native of Savannah and a longtime resident of Garden City. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and the Garden City Volunteer Fire Department.

SURVIVORS: two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen West of Brooklet, and Christy and James Ringgold of Ellabell; his mother, Lois Jackson of Savannah; three brothers, James Floyd Anderson of Lavonia and H. Frank Anderson and S. Steven Lewis, both of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Thursday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Massey Chapel, Garden City, burial in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Bulloch County. -Savannah Now, May 2000
