Henry H. Bain, for many years postmaster at Bryant, passed away last week at Gibbon, Nebraska to which place he recently moved. Death resulted from Bright's disease together with other complications. For many years he was a resident of the Ozarks and made hosts of warm friends who will regret to learn of his death. He was a civil war veteran and old time resident of Marion, Ohio. The remains were taken to Ohio and the funeral held from the Mrs. G. T. Emerson home, his neice. Mr. Bain was a son of William and Mary Bain, pioneer residents and the last of his family. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
