GEORGE SHORT PASSES AWAY SUNDAY MORNING
PORMINENT FARMER DIES OF HEART DISEASE
George W. Short, 63 years of age, died at the home of his son, Ralph Short, at 9:00 Sunday morning. Mr. Short had been ill for three years, but was not confined to his bed until two weeks prior to his death. Death was caused by heart trouble.
Mr. Short lived the greater part of his life near Franklin. He was a prominent farmer and farmed until a few years ago, when his ill health compelled him to retire. Since then he has made his home with his different children. He was a member of the K. of P. lodge and the Methodist church at Pisgah.
Mr. Short is survived by six sons: Walter Short of Franklin, Claude Short of Franklin, Otto Short of Muncie, Ralph Short of Franklin, Noah Short of Franklin and Paul Short of Franklin; two daughters, Mrs. Minna Edwards of Southport and Mrs. Ida Badger of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Nan Harter of Franklin and Mrs. __ Mann of Muncie and two brothers, James Short and John Short of Franklin.
…. Burial will be made in the Greenlawn cemetery.
