Martha E. Ryan was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ryan. She was born in Livingston County, January 26, 1845 and resided here practically her entire life. December 5, 1867, she was married to Edward L. Taylor whose death occurred in this city November 1897. There were born to this marriage five children, two, John H. Taylor of this city and James E. Taylor of Kansas City, survive.
She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Edward and Joseph Woolsey of Braymer; James Woolsey of Kansas City; Richard B., Jonathan E., and Dorothy Taylor of this city.” The Chillicothe Constitution, August 18, 1921
