Services for Harry Chernew, who operated a shoe store in Squirrel Hill for 15 years, were held today at the Burton L. Hirsch Chapel, 2704 Murray Ave., Squirrel Hill.
Mr. Chernew, 62, of 5562 Hobart St., Squirrel Hill, died at his home yesterday.
For more than 20 years Mr. Chernew had either operated or was employed in the retail shoe business in stores here.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Mary Weisberg, of Pittsburgh; and three brothers, Sidney and Paul Chernew, both of Pittsburgh, and Hy Chernew, of St. Louis.
Burial was in the Shaare Torah Cemetery.
