Maycle O. Adkins Payne Triebenbach, 85, of Cool Ridge, Raleigh County, W.Va., died at 10:44 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2006, in the Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley, W.Va., following a short illness.

She was born on March 8, 1921, at New River Road, Raleigh County, a daughter of Silas A. Adkins and Lottie Belle Bennett Adkins.

Mrs. Triebenbach had lived most of her life in Raleigh County and was a former employee of Beckley Manufacturing and the Raleigh County Board of Education. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church at Hinton, Summers County, W.Va

She was preceded in death by her husband Watts Payne.

She was survived by two daughters, Glenna Hammack and husband Michael of Lynchburg, Va., and Shirley Perkins and husband Russell of Crab Orchard, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Cheryl Mercadante and husband Michael of Eccles, W.Va., Phillip Shelton of Tennessee, Stephen Perkins and wife Amanda of Flagstaff, Aiz., Brian Perkins of Blacksburg, Va., and Jennifer Thomas and husband Leon of Bradenton, Fla.; three great grandchildren; five sisters, May Adkins Woods of Meadow Creek, Elva Adkins, Boinoyvich of Elkton, Md., Listina Adkins Harvey of White Oak Mountain, W.Va., Lena Adkins Meadows and Grace Adkins Meadows, both of Shady Spring, W.Va.; and one brother, Rossy Adkins of Elkton, Md.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 29, 2006, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton, with Pastor William Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Silas Adkins Family Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers.
