CHARDON – Dorothy B. Ault, of Chardon, passed away Sept. 13, 2015, at Precious Care Assisted Living in Concord Township. She was 90.
Born Dec. 18, 1924, in Washington, Pa., to John and Emma (nee Naylor) Beatty, she had been a longtime Chardon area resident.
Dorothy married Lester E. Ault Jr., on Dec. 11, 1942, in Washington, Pa.
Survivors include her children Dorothy Dale Strike, of California, Pa., Sharon Kane, of Mentor, Alice Darlene Lucido, of Englewood, Fla., Crystal Grimes, of Painesville, Heather Arotin, of Newbury Township, John Ault, of Hartsgrove Township, and Matt Ault, of Perry; grandchildren, Ed, Tim, Leah Anne, Donna, Lester IV, Angela, Michael, April, Heather, Tracy, Jessica, Mike, April, John, Nina, Matthew and Megan; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Brower, of North Ft. Myers, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Lester Ault III; and siblings Loretta, June and Geraldine.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sept. 18 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 18 at Chardon Municipal Cemetery on Park Street.
