Thomas Adams, a resident of this city for the past ten years, died Sunday morning at his home 1015 McKey boulevard. While operating a machine at the Caloric factory last Monday he received severe internal injuries which were the cause of his untimely death. He was forcibly knocked to the floor by a blow in his abdomen from a board which was thrust back suddenly by the buzz-saw which he was running. He was taken to his home immediately, where medical attention was given him and his condition seemed to improve. Friday, however, he took a turn for the worse and passed away Sunday morning.
Thomas Adams was born in Kansas City December 25, 1883, and came to this city when twenty-three years of age. He was married to April 16, 1911, to Martha Zoellick, who, with one sister in Kansas City, he leaves to mourn his loss. Mr. Adams was an energetic worker and a loving husband and will be severely missed by those who knew him...
