She married Joseph Paul Haggerty in New Orleans on November 13, 1907 at age 17 (although they both claimed to be 21). They were both entertainers and travelled across the U.S. doing vaudeville and stock shows. Together they had 3 children. They moved to Los Angeles ca. 1920 and stayed. In the mid 1920s Joseph divorced Isabel. In the 1930s she lived alone on West 14th Street and worked at a Millinery Store (clothing, hats and Fashion).
Isabel died on January 20, 1958.
Note: My grandfather (Joseph Patrick Haggerty) claimed that she was buried in a Catholic Cemetery, but records are lacking. Most likely she was buried at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery in downtown Los Angeles. Another possibility is that she was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, where her mother was buried.
Joseph Paul and Isabel Haggerty had three children:
Joseph Patrick Haggerty (1909-2000)
Donald L Haggerty (1912-2002)
Kathleen Haggerty (1916-1988)
