!OBITUARY: Mrs. B.I. Anderson Funeral Services This Afternoon

Last rites will be held today, Thursday, at 2 PM at the Little White Congregational Church for Mrs. Brewer Anderson, 64, well loved former teacher, former county superintendent of schools and a resident of Phillips county for 61 years. Mrs Anderson died at a Great Falls hospital April 22 following about a month's illness.
The Rev. Kenneth Ruehl will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Malta cemetery.
Ada Millar Anderson was born at Huson, a short distance from Missoula, on July 27, 1898. In 1902 the Millar family came to Malta and located on a ranch in the Content community. Mrs. Anderson attended Malta schools and in 1916 graduated from Malta High School.
Her first teaching position was at Grove school in the Content community. She attended the Dillon Normal school and Northern Montana college and, in all, taught 20 years in Phillips county rural schools. She served two terms as county superintendent. She was active in republican women's organizations.
In December, 1943 she was married to Brewer I Anderson. They made their home on the Anderson ranch south of Malta until about two years ago when they sold their ranch holdings and established a home in Greenacres.
