Charley R. Sprouse, (Bobby), 73, of Vinton, died Thursday, September 22, 1994.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Gandy.
Mr. Sprouse is survived by his wife, Mary C. Sprouse, Hardy; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Jimmy Bowles, Salem, Carolyn and Doug Swecker, Pulaski, Margaret and Lewis Robertson, Roanoke, Elizabeth and John Herron, Hardy, Debbie and T. C. Gandy, Blue Ridge; a son, John Ashlin, Hardy; niece and husband, Lisa and Dan Baldwin, Vinton; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Alonza Sprouse, Charlottesville; sister, Thelma Spouse, Charlottesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 26, 1994 at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, with the Rev. Chip Corbin officiating. Burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
