" SS Yola, built by ...... was a British steamer of 3504 tons.
On February 7th, 1917, Yola, on a voyage from New York to London with a cargo of wheat, was sunk by the German submarine U-55 (Wilhelm Werner), West of Ushant (Ouessant). She was posted as missing. 33 persons were lost."
