She was born June 8, 1901, in Springfield, the daughter of Albert and Julia [sic] DeCorix Bowman.
She married Godfrey Biesenthal in Springfield; he died in 1986 [sic].
Also preceding her in death were three children; a grandson; six sisters; and a brother.
Surviving are a son, Albert Evans of Springfield; a daughter, Pat Biesenthal of Petersburg; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Sponsler of Springfield and Eva Jones of Washington state; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services were held on Thursday at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
