Ann Castleman, 82 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, August 31, 1933 in Davidson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Walter Harrison Averitt and the late Amanda Josephine Huddleston Averitt.

She was a home-maker.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Perry Grills. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin R. Castleman of Newbern, Tennessee; two sons, Rickey Castleman (Kathy) and Paul Castleman both of Newbern, Tennessee; one, brother, George Averitt of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Louise Allen of Nashville, Tennessee; Francis Gulley and Clara Clifton both of Madison, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Lisa Capps, Allen Kolwyck, Paula Houston and Stacey Castleman; eight grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Averitt and Bubba Averitt and two sisters, Ruby Binkley and Margaret Ann Harter.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Capps, Dayton Capps, Clint Capps, Chad Capps, Allen Kolwyck and Curtis Howerton.
