    Married, at the Baptist parsonage in Hiawatha, Wednesday, January 6, Miss Sarah Walters, daughter of Morgan Walters, and Mr. Henry Schrader, son of Chas. Schrader.

—Henry Schrader, 66, died Friday morning at the Sabetha hospital after being there 2 weeks for treatment. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Miss Ruth Schrader, 4 sons, Paul Irvin, Walter at home, Leslie, Floyd, of Hiawatha; 5 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. May Mauslin[sic], Mrs. Robert Warren, of Hiawatha, Miss Clara Schrader, of Topeka. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, at 2:30 at the Baptist church, Rev. Blackledge officiating. Burial in Hiawatha cemetery.

—Henry Schrader, eldest son of Charles-Augusta Margaret Schrader, was born at Cuttenberg[sic], Clayton county, Iowa, Mar. 9, 1868, died April 13, 1934 at the Sabetha hospital age 66 years, 1 month, 4 days. Mr. Schrader came to Kansas with his parents, older sister in 1888[sic-68], settling 12 miles northeast of Hiawatha where he lived until the family moved to 5 miles north, 2½ miles east of Hiawatha, to the present home in March 1904. Jan. 6, 1897 he was united in marriage to Sarah Walters, 5 children were born to them, Ruth, Paul, Walter of the home, Leslie, Floyd, of Hiawatha. Besides his wife, 5 children, 5 grandchildren, he leaves 3 sisters, Mrs. Mable Mauslein, Mrs. Mina Warren, of Hiawatha, Miss Clara Schrader, of Topeka, 2 brothers, O. H., Irvin, of Hiawatha. Mr. Schrader united with the Bethel Baptist church early in life, was an active member until the church was disbanded, several years ago. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, a short service at the home at 2 o'clock, at 2:30 at the Baptist church in Hiawatha, Rev. Jas. P. Blackledge, pastor of the church in charge. Member of the old Bethel choir, Mrs. Ralph Heatly, Mrs. T. T. McCoy, Lazarus Morgan, Conrad Rice sang, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere, We Are Going Down the Valley, Nearer My God to Thee, Mrs. Arthur Allen at the organ. The body bearers were C. M. Jones, Harry Jones, J. A. Mize, Evan Evans, Conrad Rice, Arthur Allen. Burial in the Hiawatha cemetery.
