RICHARD J. PRIBEK

Richard J. Pribek, 60, of 1003 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon,
Aug. 13, at the family residence.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. at Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m.
at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. The Rev. Charles Mocco will celebrate
the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in the church cemetery. Military
graveside rites will be accorded Mr. Pribek by Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas
Post No. 659.
Mr. Priebek was born Nov. 11, 1922, at Lena, Wis., son of Elizabeth Hoffmann Pribek
and the late John Pribek. He attended public schools at Lena and married Theresa D.
Muchowski Aug. 25, 1954, at Dubuque, Iowa. After marriage the couple moved to Green
Bay, residing there 17 years, moving to Manitowoc in 1969. He and his wife operated
taverns for 30 years at Green Bay, Manitowoc and Maribel areas. Mrs. Pribek preceded
him in death Feb. 12, 1983. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers and was
a veteran of World War II, serving two years with the United States Navy in the South
Pacific.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Pribek of Manitowoc; four brothers, Harry of
Milwaukee, Ervin and Vernon of Manitowoc and Gordon of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs.
Roland (Olive) Herman and Mrs. Clayton (Evelyn) Williamson of Sheboygan, and Mrs.
Lucille Williquette of Milwaukee and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday afternoon,
where a prayer service will be at 7 o'clock by Father Mocco.
