Winston Louise Scott (Schilling) was born December 19, 1913 in Benton, Arkansas. Her parents were Maurice Franklin Scott and Myrtle Minnie Henderson (Scott). She was the 4th born child to Maurice and Myrtle. Her siblings are:

She attended grade school in Benton. Her family moved to Miami, Florida in 1925. She attended Robert E. Lee Jr. High School and graduated from Miami Senior High School. She also attended Florida Southern College and worked as x-ray technician for several years.

Louise married Jerome Lawrence Schilling in 1940 in Miami, Florida. He was born on December 13, 1914 in Miami, Florida. Jerome, who was a licensed architect at the time, designed and had built the house that they lived in. The house was located at 1270 NE 102nd Street, Miami Shores, Florida.

Two children were born of the marriage: Jerome Scott Schilling, born January 29, 1943, (died April 14, 1970 in a car accident at the age of 27), and Kerela Gene Schilling, born August 24, 1950.

Her interests were homemaking, golf, bridge, backgammon and travel. She was very active in volunteer work at the Miami Museum of Science.

Jerome and Loulie sold the house in Miami Shores around 1990. They bought a condominium at 2000 Towerside Terrace, Unit 1102, Miami, FL 33138-2225.
