"This community lost a good old mother in the death of Aunt Polly Bellew. The writer knew her for an number of years. She numbered her friends by her acquaintances. She was a good Christian lady who wanted everything done right and pleasing in the sight of God. She was always Aunt Polly wherever she was. I would say to the bereaved that while there are those that death can hardly break, weep not for mother, for she has gone to reap the reward that she has been working for so long."
