Aurelio Macias died Aug. 9, 2006. He was 74.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; three daughters, Julia Ramirez, Teresa Perez, and Angela Maria Macias, all of Corpus Christi; four sons, Jose, Martin, Arturo and Hector Macias, all of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Ana Maria Serrato and Margarita Barrios, both of Mexico; a brother, Juan Macias of Mexico; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
