Mrs. Ethel Alcorn Hancox, 72, died at her home at Titusville, Route 3, at 9:30 p.m. Saturday following a short illness. She was born at Alcorn Corners, Cherrytree Township on March 7, 1880, a daughter of Bruce and Jane Hughes Alcorn. She was married to Colin Hancox at Titusville on March 15, 1901. She attended the Methodist Church at Fairview.
Besides her husband, she is survived byt he following brothers and sister: George Alcorn and Mrs. Minnie Cole, Harborcreek; Harry Alcorn, Ripley, N.Y., and Arthur Alcorn, North East.
Friends may call at the Tracy home of funerals any time and attend the funeral service there on Tuesday at 2 P.m. Rev. John L. Murray, pastor of the Fairview Methodist Church, willl officiate and interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
