Harry Alcorn, 75, of R.D.1 Ripley, N.Y., died Thursday at Battersby Convalescent Home, Erie, after an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 27, 1894, in Titusville, a son of the late Bruce and Jane Hughes Alcorn, and he retired from Electric Materials Co., North East, in 1961 after 20 years of service.
His wife, Mary, died in 1944. A daughter, Arlene, died in 1944.
Surviving are one son, C. Bernard Alcorn of North East; one daughter, Mrs. Donelda Fish of Ripley; one brother, Arthur Alcorn of North East; one sister, Mrs Vinnie Cole of Harborcreek; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the John Marks Funeral Home, North East, Friday and Saturday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday.
Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery.
