Miss Lulu Palen, 55, of Ashokan, died in Poughkeepsie Wednesday.

Surviving is her father, Lucas Palen and a brother, Clarence Palen, both of Ashokan. Also surviving is a nephew, Pfc. Calvin C. Palen stationed with the U.S. Armed Forces in Germany.

Funeral services will be held at Lasher Funeral Home, Woodstock, Saturday 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard R.Guice, pastor of the Ashokan Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Bushkill Cemetery, West Shokan.
