BYHALIA - Leo Rodgers, 76, died Friday, July 18, 2003, at his residence in Byhalia. He was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Union County to the late Alfred and Ella Arnold Rodgers. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany with the Rev. Derick Finley officiating. Burial will be in the Ellistown Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Ann Gray of Byhalia; two sons, Jamie Leo Rodgers and Bobby Lynn Rodgers, both of Byhalia; two sisters, Cleo Castleberry of Blue Springs and Polly Owens of Myrtle; two brothers, Billy Rodgers and Jack Rodgers, both of New Albany; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Poe Rodgers; and one daughter, Shelia Dianne Brady.

Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Hampton, Ronnie Harpo, Wayne Box, Gene Hampton, Gary Hampton and Charles Reape Jr.
