DIED
Died at her residence in Fayetteville, of cancer, MRS. MARY FULTON, aged about 49 years, relict of Col. JAMES FULTON, whose decease it was our painful office to announce but two weeks ago. Thus in so short of time is the community deprived by the ravages of death of two of its worthy and estimable citizens, and a large family bereaved of both father and mother. Could floods of tears, and expressions of heart sympathy such as seldom find expression, effect any thing, then would the deceased be restored in health to the embrace of her family.

Mrs. Fulton has been a Christian since 1829, and for several years a member of the C. P. Church. As to her character in that respect, I deem it sufficient only to say that her consistent life gave force and effect to her profession, and her patient endurance for several months of extreme suffering , gave manifestation that she found relief in the christian faith. The deceased was a most estimable woman, and her death will be long and deeply regretted by the community, and her loss most sensibly felt by the poor. Charitable and kind, she was always ready to administer relief to the suffering indigent.
