She married first Cornelius Lewis in 1881 in Hightstown, NJ and was living with him in Cranbury, NJ in 1900. Shortly thereafter, she was living in Trenton, working as a housekeeper, saying she was divorced, and calling herself Rosella Horn. She is in the 1910 Census twice--once living next door to her sister Emma Ward and once with her employers.

By 1915 she was living with her second husband Augustus/Gus Miller, a German immigrant, in Trenton. Although they presented themselves as married in 1915 and she was using the name Miller, they didn't marry until 1920. At that time, she said she was a widow. The last record found so far for her first husband was in the 1907 Trenton City Directory. They were not living together at that time.

From 1900 to 1915 she alternately called herself Horn and Lewis. After 1915 she alternately called herself Horn and Miller.

Her death certificate says she was buried here.

She had a stillborn child in 1882.
