Alex Espersen was born on August 2, 1944 in Breum, Skive Kommune, Midtjylland, Denmark, the son of Peter Espersen and Anna (Pedersen) Espersen.
He was a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, was a member of Excell Baptist Church, and he was married to Phyllis (Stanley) Lusby.
Ales was a retired truck driver for Byard Construction and living in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, and he was 71 years old and married when he Clarksville died November 9, 2015 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by brothers Robert Espersen and Evald Espersen, while survivors included his widow, two Lusby stepsons in Clarksville, a sister and four brothers, all of Denmark, five sisters-in-law at Clarksville a married Stanley brother-in-law, also at Clarksville and several nieces and nephews of Denmark.
Celebration of Life Services were held on November 12th at Excell Baptist Church, and burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Clarksville.
