A drop-in celebration of life memorial will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at the home of Joanne Abbey, 1103 W. Main St., West Plains, for Charles J. Abbey, who passed away Nov. 12, 2015, at his home in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 66.

Mr. Abbey was born the son of Charles Everett Abbey and Cheryl Jean (Reynolds) Abbey on May 1, 1949, in St. Louis, Mo. Both parents preceded him in death.

Charles is survived by his son Charles Ryan Abbey and wife Virginia (Hopkins) Abbey and their two sons Charles William and Samuel Staten of Byhalia, Miss.; daughter Trisha Camille Abbey and Samuel Wright of Little Rock, Ark.; Ryan and Trisha’s mother Dianne Stanley of Humboldt, Tenn.; two sisters, Joanne Abbey and Rebecca Abbey of West Plains; four brothers, Doyle Abbey and wife Betty of Potosi, Mo., Eugene Abbey and wife Marsha of St. Louis, Jay Abbey and Marlene Self of Winona, Mo., and Mark Abbey and wife Leann of Winona; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

All family members and friends are invited to drop in for a “Celebration of Life” on Saturday. Private Graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bikers United, 1913 Hull Street, West Plains, MO 65775 or www.bikersunited.org.
