Guadalupe Rosales, age 67, went peacefully to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his warm smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cipriano and Soledad Rosales; brothers, Feliciano, Tomas, Sr., Altilano, George and Gustavo Rosales and a sister, Aurora R. Flores; and a son, Rene Rosales.

Survivors include his children, Esmeralda Garcia of Corpus Christi, Brenda Rosales of Austin, Texas, Guadalupe (Terry) Rosales of Ohio, Joe (Milissa) Rosales of Arlington, Texas, Mark (Donna) Rosales of Corpus Christi, and Gustavo (Juanita) Rosales of Houston, Texas; two nieces who were like sisters, Sylvia (Robert) Delgado and Cynthia (Johnny) Vasquez both of Corpus Christi; brothers, Frank (Alicia) Rosales, of Corpus Christi, Pedro (Refugio) Rosales of Conroe, Texas, Leonides (Rosie) Rosales and Alejandro Rosales both of Corpus Christi and Gilberto (Virginia) Rosales of California; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and a rosary were conducted July 17 and funeral services were celebrated July 18 at Trevino Funeral Home.

Interment followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Robert Delgado, Sr., Johnny Vasquez, Tomas Rosales, Richard Rosales, Robert Delgado, Jr., and Frankie Vasquez. Honorary pallbearer: Roel Rangel.
