Obituary - John Realph

John Ralph of Logan Township Called By Death

John Ralph, one of the pioneer settlers of Logan township in
Swaburg, passed away last Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Max Slack at Mason City.

Mr. Ralph was born in Ireland eighty-nine years ago and coming to
this country settled in Logan township in the eighties and
prospered, tilling Dodge county soil. He was always prominent in
the Swaburg community. He retired from the farm a number of years
ago and for a time made his home in Wahoo but more recently has
lived with his daughter. He is survived by two sons and two
daughters, William in Swaburg, Ed at Crowell, Mrs. Max Slack, Mrs.
John Slack, Mason City.

The remains were taken to Hooper where the funeral was held Sunday.
