Actress. She had a successful run in both Italian and French films during the 1960s and 1970s. Born to an Italian father and American mother, she was a descendant of Italian historian and author Niccolo Machiavelli, she spoke both Italian and English fluently. Raised in Florence, she studied Art and Painting, prior to making her film debut with a small part in the picture "Thrilling" (1965). She followed this with "Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die" (1966) and "The Hills Run Red" (1966). She may perhaps be best remembered for playing 'Estella' opposite Burt Reynolds in "Navajo Joe" (1966) or as 'Marquita' in the star-studded "Candy" (1968). She went on to co-star opposite Alain Delon in "No Way Out" (1973) and "Someone is Bleeding" (1974). She retired from the entertainment industry during the 1980s moved to the State of Washington, where she taught Italian at the University of Washington.
