Frank V. Winsor Dies; Rites Today
Frank Vinson Winsor, 88, of Sequim died at his home Thursday morning after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. today at the Sequim Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Alfred Olson officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Anacortes, at 1 p.m., under the direction of the Harpers Funeral Home.
Mr. Winsor was born in Marion, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1868. He was a locomotive engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad 50 years until his retirement in 1940 when he moved to Sequim.
He was a member of the Sequim Assembly of God Church and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Surviving relatives include his son, Ivan Winsor, Sequim and brother, Bert V. Winsor, Jeffersonville, ind.
