Mrs. Minnie B. Hoover died at Rutherford Hospital after a brief illness.
Last rites were held at Jennings & Ayers by the Rev. Lee Medley. Burial followed at the family cemetery at Hoover's Gap.
She was born in Wilson County and had lived for many years in the Walter hill community. her husband E.W. Hoover, died in 1933.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. R.B. Wilson, Walter Hill; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ola Harding, Nashville; Mrs. Pearl West, Orlando, Fla., a stepson; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Della Summers, Walter Hill.
