Frank Weigel, 39, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at the Milwaukee Road Railroad roundhouse, where he was employed as a boilermaker's helper. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 9:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Henry Hoerner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Weigel was born at Hague, ND on Sept. 1, 1911. He lived there until 1943, when he came to Aberdeen. He was married to Barbara Senger at Hague on Oct. 21, 1936. Mr. Weigel had been employed by the Milwaukee Road Railroad since his arrival.
He is survived by his widow, Barbara; one son, Dennis; two daughters, Avilla and Lillian; three brothers, Ben, Pete and Pvt. Adam Weigel; eight sisters, Christine Christiansen, Katherine Daachel, Rose Feist, Barbara Fellus, Mary Hoffman, Helen Schotz, Frances Chrockin and Caroline Weigel.
