Born in Brothers Valley Twp., Bedford (now Somerset) Co., son of Abraham and Anna (Hochstetler) Miller. Died in Stonycreek Twp. Husband of Maria Maust. Father of Joseph, Yost, Samuel, Abraham and Daniel Miller, Sarah Yoder and Catherine Gary. Most of his children eventually went west to Indiana, as did his widow Maria, who was later remarried to Jacob Schwartzentruber, and died in LaGrange Co., Indiana in 1875.
