Services for Alma Biggs Ford are scheduled for Saturday November 28, 2015 12 Noon North Star Baptist Church with Dr. Jerard Mosley officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Tyler under the direction of Brooks Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Ford died November 18, 2015. She was born November 24, 1918 in Smith County to Leonard Seal and George Arnold.

Alma was the last sibling of 2 sisters and four brothers.

Alma married O.T. Biggs and to this union seven children were born. Two children Melvin Biggs and Vera Biggs preceded her in death. Mr. Biggs also preceded her in death in 1966. She later married Lawrence Ford who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ford was a volunteer at East Texas Medical for many years. She was a member of North Star Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and worked with the hospitality committee.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughters Annie Biggs Simmons, Marion Raibon, Kathrine Biggs, Katie Thomas, son Fred Biggs. Seven grandchildren, 4 great grand children, a host of neices nephews, relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Public viewing from Noon to 6:00pm.
