Mrs. George Walker, colored, who died at Bedford, was brought here for burial yesterday. The funeral took place from the A.M.E. church, Rev. Morman officiating. The Masonic order took charge of the remains which were laid to rest in the Mitchell cemetery.

Mrs. George Walker, aged 27, daughter of Isaac Irwin, died at Bedford Sunday night and her body was brought to Mitchell for burial Monday. She left a husband and one child. Funeral services were held in the forenoon and conducted by Rev. H. C. Moorman pastor of Bedford A.M.E. church. The lodge of U.B. of F. of which deceased was a member, assisted in the obsequies and marched in a procession to the cemetery.
