Virgie B. "Jean" Irby, 82, of 489 Boals Ave., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1995, at Mansfield General Hospital after a long illness.

She was born Feb. 16, 1913, in Cananville and had lived most of her life in this area. She had retired from Peabody Barnes and was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Irby of Mansfield.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
