Born c. 1882-1887 in Zaleszczyki, Galicia (now Zalishchyky, Ukraine) to Hersz Arje and Chana Rosenberg, Regina immigrated to the United States in Nov. 1910. On Dec. 30, 1911, she married Israel Joseph Kivetz on New York City's Lower East Side. Their four children -- Harry, Anna, Louis, and Isidore (later Irving) -- ranged in age from five years to eight months when her life was cut short by the Spanish Influenza pandemic.

Regina's brother Isaac Arye is also buried on the grounds of the Joseph Held Association.
